About me:
My name is Elizabeth Albor
and I thank you for taking a look at my teaching portfolio.
I am currently doing my student teaching at Homedale Elementary School. During my first semester at Homedale Elementary school I was fortunate enough to work with immersion kindergarten in the morning and mainstream kindergarten in the afternoon. During second semester I worked with a second grade class in the morning and continued on working with mainstream kindergarten in the afternoon.
Spending my entire school year as a student-teacher has been a great experience. I have been able to see where the students started and where they are now. Seeing the students on a day to day basis helped learn more about them and the many ways I can teach them. I was able to see their progress on a daily basis and help them grow along the way. Throughout the school year I was also given the opportunity to lead parent-teacher conferences. My experience was not only in the classroom but outside of it as well. I met and built relationships with my students' parents which as a teacher it is a very valuable thing to have.
As this school year comes to a conclusion I am eager to see what else awaits for me in the near future.
